TARINE (“TARINÉ”, “we”, “us”) runs tarine.in. GSTIN 29ACMPH3055N2Z3. Registered address: 612, Bhavisha Bentley Goldberg Phase-2, Kada Agrahara, Sarjapura, Bangalore, Karnataka, India – 562125. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
- Account details: your login and order history, if you create an account.
- Messages: what you send us through our contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Newsletter: your email address and name if you subscribe.
- Technical data: device, browser, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools.
We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled by Razorpay.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and support your order.
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates.
- To reply to your questions.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the website is used and to improve it, and to measure our advertising.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, including GST invoicing.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services we need to run the store, and only what each one needs:
- Razorpay to take payment.
- Shiprocket and its courier partners to deliver your order.
- Google (Analytics and Search Console) to measure website use.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising measurement and retargeting.
- Our hosting and email providers to run the website and send messages.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies that keep the site working (cart, checkout and login), and, with your consent where required, cookies that measure website use and advertising. You can change your browser settings to block cookies, but the cart and checkout need them to work.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Other data is kept only as long as it is needed for the reasons above, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it where the law allows, or withdraw consent you have given us. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to hello@tarine.in and we will reply within a reasonable time.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian’s consent.
Security
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, but no website can be completely secure.
