Where your money goes.

We believe a brand that asks for your trust should show you exactly what it does with your money. So we do.

Every product page shows a full cost breakdown

When you look at any TARINÉ product, you will see a table showing the price, line by line. Not marketing language. Actual numbers. Here is a sample for a ₹2,299 saree:

Where does your money go?Amount
Fabric, work & finishing₹1,000
Packaging, labelling and shipping (free to you)₹150
GST (5%, included in the price)₹109
Payment gateway fee (2.36%)₹54
Getting TARINÉ seen (capped at 30% of the price)₹690
Designers and curators (5%)₹115
Operations team (2.64%)₹61
Profit to stay independent (5.2%)₹120
Price₹2,299

Every product page shows its own actual numbers. The table above is illustrative only.

How the price is split

Getting TARINÉ seen is a monthly budget capped at 30% of our revenue target, so that line is an average, not what was spent on one order. Designers and curators get 5% and the operations team 2.64%. What is left is the profit that keeps TARINÉ independent, and we show it with its real percentage.

Why we show GST separately

GST is paid to the government, not to us. We show it separately so you know exactly what the government takes. The price you see already includes 5% GST, so the GST line is the 5/105 part of that price. Shipping is free across India, and there are no extra charges at checkout.

Fabric transparency

Every product states its full fabric composition in plain language. Where we know the sourcing origin, we share that too. We will never use polyester. If we ever discover a fabric contains synthetic fibres, we will publish it publicly and remove the product immediately.

Our pricing formula

Price = 2 × (saree cost + ₹150 for packaging, labelling and shipping), rounded to end in 99. Every other line is a share of that price, and profit is what is left. The same rule applies to every saree we sell.
