We believe a brand that asks for your trust should show you exactly what it does with your money. So we do.
Every product page shows a full cost breakdown
When you look at any TARINÉ product, you will see a table showing the price, line by line. Not marketing language. Actual numbers. Here is a sample:
| What you are paying for | Amount |
|---|---|
| Saree cost (fabric, work & finishing) | ₹830 |
| Packaging & care card | ₹20 |
| Labelling | ₹10 |
| Logistics | ₹120 |
| Marketing (per-order customer acquisition) | ₹350 |
| Payment gateway fee (2.36%) | ₹54 |
| GST (5%, paid to government — not to us) | ₹115 |
| TARINÉ margin | ₹800 |
| Total MRP | ₹2,299 |
Every product page shows its own actual numbers — the table above is illustrative only.
What the margin pays for
The margin TARINÉ earns after all costs funds design, curation, quality checks, customer support, and keeping this brand independent. A transparent brand needs a sustainable margin to stay transparent.
Why we show GST separately
GST is paid to the government — not to us. We show it separately so you know exactly what the government takes and what comes to TARINÉ. The price you see is always GST-inclusive. The only additional charge at checkout is the ₹99 COD convenience fee if you choose cash on delivery.
Fabric transparency
Every product states its full fabric composition in plain language. Where we know the sourcing origin, we share that too. We will never use polyester. If we ever discover a fabric contains synthetic fibres, we will publish it publicly and remove the product immediately. Read our no-polyester pledge →
Our pricing formula
MRP = (2 × saree cost) + packaging + labelling + logistics + marketing + payment gateway fee + GST. Our margin always equals the saree cost — a consistent rule that keeps our transparency promise mathematically honest.
