The geometric and floral bel design uses a supplementary weft weaving technique — the motifs are woven directly into the cotton ground in golden zari thread, not printed or embroidered. Each motif is structurally part of the fabric, built row by row on the loom. Cotton ground: breathable, easy to drape, and comfortable through long festive occasions.
